| I went to my first football game last night and I couldn't ask for a more awesome first game to go to. I decided that I wanted to go on Thursday night (game was Saturday night) so my boyfriend and I were looking for tickets and eventually found some. We weren't sure if we were going until Saturday morning. The guy called us and told us he couldn't sell the tickets for more so he decided to take us up on our offer. I was excited--Giants Stadium, Section 331, 50 yard line. I couldn't ask for a better seat last minute. So we drove down to Meadowlands, NJ and met up with the guy and his gf. He had two spare tickets so he wanted to get rid of them. We were pretty confident with the legitimacy with the tickets considering that he and his gf were going to be attending the game right next to us. So we went in, I got my hotdogs and I have to tell you, I absolutely loved being at the game. There's so much adrenaline running through you knowing that there would be so many record-breaking events to be made. I never thought that I would actually enjoy it that much considering I watch tv on a 73" every day on the comfort of my own couch. So the Patriots won with a perfect scoring season with a score of Patriots: 38, Giants: 35. "Nice! Like it! Nice!" Time move on to the next game! | | |
| Just got home. Today was the first time I spent time with my sister for about 3.5 months now. She's been living in Georgia and will soon be moving back up North to New York with her boyfriend. They've stopped here in Massachusetts to visit relatives and friends for a couple of weeks before going to New York.
I went shopping with her and I have not gone shopping shopping for awhile. I've been to the mall and all, but it's just not the same without her. I've missed her and am very very happy to have her back up here. She's not going to be too far away so I can drive to New York to visit her a lot more often. I'm happy .
I bought a bunch of sweaters for work--they are all so fuzzy soft! I also bought a couple more jeans. I was told not to buy any more because I have roughly 40+ pairs, but I could not resist because they were actually on sale. Plus, I like the feel of Seven jeans.
I've not been feeling all that great lately. I'm been really stressed and not-so-happy with things. The only thing that was keeping me sane was work. Knowing that my sister is back up here within driving distance makes me happy.
Speaking of driving, I am now paying $3.34 for gas and that's the cheapest around my area...grrr .
Hope everyone is having an awesome Labor Day weekend.
| It feels good to know that there is always one friend who you can always count on for anything -- even if it's last minute. Getting lost together in middle school was the beginning of a great friendship. After not talking for the longest time because of something petty, it felt so natural like we never did stop talking when we finally met up again. Thank you for being there for me. I really really appreciate it. *HUG* | | |
| Time to go play! Have a happy 4th of July everyone! | | |
| I started a new job this past Monday. It has only been four days but I can honestly say that I love the group of people that I work with. I enjoy coming into work every morning (at least so far) and I love that everyone actually does their work. The environment is absolutely great. Everything is so fast-paced and that makes the day fly by.
WFS Financial has exceeded expectations and sales is expected to reach about one billion dollars for the Boston branch alone. We reached sales of over one million dollars today alone, which totals to over five hundred million in sales for the 2nd quarter. The senior vice president congratulated our branch by sending us a bunch of balloons to celebrate. It's a small gesture, but it shows that he appreciates the work we are doing. The operations manager is also taking the department out to lunch tomorrow.
The attire is business casual, but since it's the summer, the company is trying to raise money for the Jimmy Fund. Therefore, if you want to wear jeans, you would have to donate a dollar unless it's a Friday. I think it's a cute idea. I can't say it enough. I really love my job.
